Challenge:

Italy's daily sugar overconsumption is (88g vs. the WHO's ideal 25g) felt rather than just read — public-health stats on sugar rarely translate into behavior change because the harm is invisible and long-term.

Solution:

Two columns of burnt matches on a white board, each match standing for a fixed unit of sugar: 750 for the WHO's ideal monthly intake, 2,640 for Italy's real one. Fire becomes the metaphor for sugar itself — a quick, pleasurable spike that leaves behind ash: quiet, accumulating damage you don't notice until it's substantial. OUTPUT — A stark visual ratio — roughly 3.5x more burnt matches than the ideal — that turns an abstract nutrition guideline into something visitors could count, compare, and sit with.
